Just as important as saving money, there is a global trend, or at least in the US, to be more eco-friendly. Among others, gasoline is a concern. As you know, burning gasoline emits pollutants that are harmful to both the environment and our health. Transportation that uses less gas (hybrid cars) and no gas (electric car, hybrid bikes, electric scooters) are getting a lot of attention among consumers.

I think it all depends on your needs. Everyone is different, has different lifestyles and different needs. For example you obviously would not by e-bike for farming or heavy duty constriction needs. And you would not necessary need a car if you live just a couple of blocks away from work in a high traffic area.

To be honest I thought that using a motorized bike was kind of cheating. For me biking was a way to exercise and if I used one with an engine, then that part was gone. However, in just a few days I noticed how wrong I had been. I actually exercise a lot more now with the Currie EZip, than I did before. Probably this is because I now feel safer. I can make longer trips as I know that I have the extra help if I get tired. Another reason could be that it’s a lot of fun.

Take it from me if you spend $150 to $200 on an electric bike your kids or you in 2 weeks tops will want a gas powered one. Just shell out the extra $100 for the gas powered bike or you will lose $200 on the electric one.

Man is never satisfied with what he possesses. He always wants to have more and more. He keeps on applying brain to invent something new to get more facility and make life smooth, so he went on making changes in the bicycle up to an extend that to-day the bicycle is made to run with electric as a fuel, which has been given the name of ELECTRIC BIKE. This new mode of transport has now become popular whole over the world. This is basically a bicycle which is a bit heavier than a common bicycle which moves forward by acceleration.

The solution to this problem? Why, the electric folding bike, of course, providing ultra efficient urban travel. When paired with public transit, the folding bikes cannot be beat. Commuters ride their bikes to the subway station or bus stop, then quickly, quietly fold the bikes, taking them easily onto the vehicle. Then when they get off, the bikes quickly unfold and off to work.

Or is it? Have you thought about making an electric bike yourself? Some pre-built electric bikes have given the whole concept a bad name, it’s true. Expensive to buy, poor range, low power, sometimes odd looking. You may find a good one, but having a bit more control over your pride and joy could lead to… pride and joy.

Next, make a quick assessment of the battery. The battery is usually a rechargeable one. But how long does the battery last? If you are traveling longer distances, you may wish to buy extra battery packs so that you can replace them if they run out.

The unit of measurement for the power of the scooter is measured in Watts. Typically, the bikes will come in 500W or 800W. Of course, the 800W bike will be much more powerful than the 500W bike. Choice of power depends on the weight of the rider. If you are a heavy person, the speed of the scooter will be affected (slower), and the battery also tends to run out quicker. So for heavier riders, try to go for the more powerful model. The bike can go as fast as 32 km per hour.

With buy all terrain electric mountain bike get super fast off-the-line acceleration, extreme hill climbing ability and plenty of power to conquer uneven or off-road terrain. The 3640 model can reach speeds up to 19 mph in 11 seconds. The more powerful 4840 can reach speeds up to 25 mph in 11 seconds! The motor is a brushless hub motor. Absolutely no maintenance is required.
